Paint the Town Red is an evening of fun and passion, bringing community leaders and philanthropic young professionals together. The night includes a silent auction, wine pull, live entertainment by Barrett Baber, party music by DJ Midnite and samplings from 15 area restaurants.
Last year, the American Heart Association raised almost $60 million nationwide allowing us to fund the research, advocacy and education programs of the American Heart Association that are necessary for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease and stroke in our community and across the country.

Entrepreneur and Shark Tank personality Daymond John will be the featured speaker in a student-funded Distinguished Lecture in February.
Daymond John will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Fayetteville Town Center on the downtown Fayetteville Square. The lecture is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
The lecture will be followed by a question and answer session.
Daymond John is the founder and chief executive officer of the clothing company FUBU – “for us, by us” – which he started with friends in his mother’s basement in Queens, New York, and is now a $6 billion brand. He joined the Emmy award-winning reality series Shark Tank in 2009. On the program John and four other business executives hear business pitches from everyday people, and decide whether or not to invest money in their projects.
John also works as a consultant and motivational speaker, sharing his expertise with everyone from students and aspiring entrepreneurs to small business owners and CEOs of major corporations.
The Distinguished Lecture Series is a student-sponsored program. Speakers are chosen by a committee of students, faculty and staff, and the events are funded by a student-approved fee, appropriated by the Programs Allocation Board.

Fayetteville Roots Festival is four-day urban music festival taking place this August 27th though the 30th, 2015. The festival emerged on the scene five years ago as a celebration of the traditional and contemporary food, music, and community of Arkansas’ Ozark region. Fulfilling the slogan A Mountain Town in its Natural State, the festival is spread throughout the city of Fayetteville with the main stage hosted at the Fayetteville Town Center, and additional stages held at George’s Majestic Lounge, Greenhouse Grille, Kingfish Dive Bar, and the Fayetteville Public Library.

Second Annual Dine for Dementia Celebratory Dinner
This "green carpet" reception will follow the day's golf tournament and will feature gourmet dinner and beverages with silent and live auctions throughout the night. An awards ceremony and Green Jacket presentation will follow along with music, dessert, and drinks on the patio.
All proceeds are being used to provide training, support, guidance, and education for those who are caring for persons living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of Dementia. The Broyles Foundation is a driving force in equipping caregivers.
